In the summertime would you rather head to the beach or head to the mountains?

I like to take advantage of goo weather, so the beach.

Some of both, really. I'm generally more a mountains girl, but I like to at least get a beach visit or three in summers. I haven't made it yet this year, but there's still time after our mountains trip next week.

The nice thing about California is that you can have both within a very short distance from each other. In fact, I have to cross some mountains to get to the beach.
