Sometimes I'll see a question come up that I'm not sure I've answered already or not...do you think it would be helpful to see a message as soon as you click on a question to know if you've already answered it, to avoid clicking through many screens?

I like that idea very much. I have noticed that there's already a flag for whether or not I have rated a question Conversational or Educational? so I'd think AB has the means of doing this.

I think that is an excellent suggestion - I hope the staff works on it soon. At my age, I am becoming forgetful, so it would be really useful for me.

Yes, I think that it would be a great idea...not to prevent you from answering again..you may have a new idea..but to alert you to the fact that you have already answered this question at least once.

That would be awesome. Sometimes I don't know whether I've answered a question or not, so I just don't answer it.

If you rate the question, after you answer it, that greys-out the "+ -", on the rate answer. Then on the question page, you just look for the greyed-out "+ -"'s and you know if you have answered the question or not. Of course, I've only been here a short time and may have completely misunderstood your question. Anyway, that's the way I do it.
