OK this is not going to answer your question exactly. When I exercise for an hour or so, if it is something like walking with my hands hanging down, my fingers swell and sometimes my hands go numb. My solution is to hold my hands up, so the extra blood flow is somewhat negated by the effects of gravity. Depending on what you are doing, this may or may not help. I do not know of any exercise that prevents blood flow.. I would have thought that to be a contradiction of terms. Anyways.. back to crap Mariellen
