Oftentimes on commercials advertising prescription medicines, they say that if you experience muscle pain or weakness while taking the drug, it could be a sign of a rare but serious side effect. What exactly is this side effect?

    First of all there was not enough study on the medicine and it is hard to predict the body's response.Each body is chemically different and a pill would have to be specially designed for that one individual.That is not done,so one takes their chances and hops for the best.I don't use prescription medicine at all.
