Class actually started at 9 A.M. and finnished at 4P.M. and was run on a trimester system where 9-11 was a major course, 11-12 was a minor course, 1-2 was a minor course, and 2-4 was a major course ... every school day was the same for the entire trimester, same four classes every day, but with three different trimesters in the school year, so three different sets of final exams. This was in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, back in 1975, 1976, & 1977.
