  • I would be for it, though I doubt it would be something I'd use often. Perhaps for emphasis, but not much else.
  • Too many fonts and people may be encouraged to get a bit over-creative, which might make some things difficult to read. I'm all for limited fonts and bold, italic and underline though.
  • I like writing larger ( age lol ) and a little fancy - I'd like it - yes +5
  • Haha I'm with you on this one.
  • I'd like bold, underline, italic, and a size larger and smaller.
  • Against. I'm very anti multiple fonts, that really would be sore on the eyes, plus sticking with one easy to see font (Arial) makes the site tidier and more attractive. I think it's better to use asterisks ''***'' to emphasise words when you don't want to be misinterpreted for shouting, I use those like bold and italics. I really don't think we should have things underlined either, especially if we do have bold and italics. Again, that would offer nothing that italics, bold and asterisks don't. It'd just clutter up the place and make it messy I think. Ultimately I think various fonts, colours and styles belong in chat rooms and on jazzy websites, I think on AB they'd detract from the Q&A aspect of things.
  • Against, there would be too many changes in font and too many people using fancy fonts that would be difficult to read. It is bad enough names and avatars changing all the time if the fonts kept changing you would never be able to answer anything for lack of concentration never know who anyone is ( I do not most of the time now) Maybe now I am getting old I am staid and set. I like the font just the way it is, people are individualising enough with names and avatars.
  • Nope, I am for it..I like the idea.
  • I think that italics, underline, and bold would be a nice option. I don't think that we need different fonts, however.
  • I think that allowing bold, italics and undelines would be a good idea, but I wouldn't want the staff to go over the top. I personally find colourful and larger fonts incredibly irritating
  • If there weren't going to be any control variables based on user behavior or question content I'd like to have underline, bold, italic, alignment, HTML scroll, and linked-image insertion options. I'd also like to have the option of making the font one size larger than it is so that the punctuation would be easier to read. I'd also like to have Tahoma as a font option so that an upper case I could be distinguished from a lower case l. ;)
  • I can see the ability to add Bold, Italics, & Underline, but I see no reason for anything else.
  • For it. We seriously need something to emphasize with other than CAPS. Bold, italic, and underline would be great.
  • I am for bold, italic, & underlined ... and perhaps a very small selection of font colors ... but I would be against a wide choice of font styles and against too many font colors.
