I remember when MTV played music videos of various artists. And, I don't think using electrodes to shock my genitals is a good idea and I sure as sugar don't think filming it for TV is.

For me it is the shaved heads,and rap music.I understand neither.

When I see a good looking guy in his 20's and I have to do a driveby lookover and look away before I am caught because I do not want to see some look in their eye that says "omg .. did that WOMAN just check me out?" lol ! Listening to Elvis ... and LOVING it .. when I was younger I was into some other godawful type of music that gives me headaches now. =X

When my teeth started falling out and I'm a 5'10' guy with 5'6" hair and everything is sore in the morning, even when I spend the night alone, and when I don't mind spending the night alone.

Realizing how fast the last 10 years have gone, and that I'm halfway thru my life (if I'm lucky). Realizing that I've been working for a living for 23 years and have about 21 left. Need for reading glasses and getting worse at hearing a conversation when there's background noise. The death of my father almost 5 years ago, and the fading of my mother. The unnatural use of technology (PC's, games, cell phones, Ipods, etc) for its own sake, by youngsters. (Darn kids, get off my lawn, you hear me??? ;) )

There is a big generation gap - in all aspects of life. The youngsters appear to me as strangers from some other planet of the universe. They have the values of their own for every thing which are not much related to those of elders. My parents did not say this with our generation. Their parents were very much close to them, so also their grand parents.

Fashion. The fashion this season is for those horrible smock dresses and tops in lurid colours. You can only get away with that sort of style if you're about 18. I really noticed it this year (I'm 40) because nothing in the shops is suitable for me.
