Why don't women have an Adam's apple (or why is it less visible)?

    Because they are for Adams only. There should be Eve's apple for the invisible ones, like women's. Women's bones are smaller because the laryx and voice box are smaller.

    Women have shorter vocal cords. That is also why women's voices are generally higher-pitched.
