Is it wrong to expect the guy to pay on a date?

The first few times you go out, it would be nice if he offered to pay. However, if you two are dating for a long time though, you should really split the check on most occasions. My bf and I have been together for 3 years... he really couldn't afford to pay like the 1000 meals we've had together.

If he asks her out, he should pay. If he asks if she would like to split expenses and go together, fine. MAke it clear before the date.
