  • It's made of thermo setting plastic if my engineering memory serves me right thus it doesn't melt.
  • Yes a lot of frozen dinners come in treated plastic which does not melt in the oven, on the packs it says Oven Cook or Microwave. I live on them, just do not try to crisp the tops under the grill because then they do melt.
  • it's called thermo setting plastic. I may not be correct but when i was year 7 we did a science project and thermo setting plastic would not melt on Venus (the hottest planet ever created) so i am pretty sure it is thermo setting plastic.
