  • I was unable to find a picture for your model year. However, if you look at where the large hoses from the radiator connect to the engine, one of them will have a kind of dome-shaped housing on it. This picture gives you the idea: http://www1.autozone.com/images/cds/gif/medium/0900823d800ec964.gif That is the thermostat housing. Usually replacing the thermostat involves 2-3 bolts to remove the housing, cleaning off any stuck-on gasket material,inserting a new thermostat (make sure it is oriented *correctly*), and reinstalling the housing with a new gasket (some use rubber O-rings). I hope that this will solve your overheating problem. If you are losing coolant, however, it is more likely that you have a coolant leak or a blown head gasket. Good luck.
