I was going to downrate you just to be funny but I didnt have it in me LOL! It does seem that there is very little middle ground when it comes to guns and it has been my observation that those who are anti-gun do not respect those who are for our right to own them. Thats the way it appears to me anyways.

Guns and weapons are an Emotional Issue, one that brings fear and anger into the equation. These are directly at odds with Logic, and thus, you have Idiots on both sides, either afraid, or angry, or both. This further polarises the opinions, and perpetuates the lack of "middle ground". Same for Religion: too much emotion involved, not enough Logic and open mindedness, too many idiots.
