You bet , they tend to take advantage of us as well - Right when you think they've grown out of it , their back to the same oh' same oh' - I totally can relate ( no matter their age ) mine are grown -- Good question

I agree! My two boys were highly resourceful at thinking up things they shouldn't do. And when you put multiple boys together, there's a sort of exponential thing that occurs - they think of way more things, and they do that "I will if you will" deal. They're grown now, but I'm kind of glad I don't know everything they did. Knowing about the fire one of them made in a dryish field in Phoenix ("I didn't DO it, Mom, I was just THERE") is more than plenty. Parents feel obliged to play fair in the parent/kid game, but the kids don't. They HAVE a moral sense, but it's not fully developed yet. And they don't know what bad things could happen because of doing something stupid. And they want to TRY stuff - so when they can get away with a prank, sometimes they go for it. Often they DON'T go for it, thank God. They weren't without common sense, and they have always been good people. But they did get into some scrapes.
