Yes, go see a doctor, if you already have and they have not proscribed you anything, go back and tell hem it hurts and you want medication of some kind. They can not deny you medication to cure or better an illness. If you insist on home care for it, there is a moisturizing cream we often use in home care called Eucerin. Its a dry skin therapy lotion. Like everything else it wont work over night and you must use as directed. Be warned it's like a lotion wax and it feels like your rubbing a ham leg on your skin, but it works. Also:Self-care These steps can help you manage dermatitis: Avoid scratching whenever possible. Cover the itchy area with a dressing, if you can't keep from scratching it. Trim nails and wear gloves at night. Dress appropriately. Doing so may help you avoid excessive sweating. Wear smooth-textured cotton clothing. This will help you avoid irritation. Avoid other irritants. These include wool carpeting, bedding and clothes, and harsh soaps and detergents. ------------------------------ Here is a link that may help: http://www.eczemaguide.com/ ---------------------------- See your doctor if: You're so uncomfortable that you're losing sleep or are distracted from your daily routines.
