it could mean she was having treatment for some sort of cancer so i would maybe feel sorry for her if i knew they werent i wud htink well done very brave woman!

I don't think I would think much of it. I've met many people with shaved head just because and I've also known quite a few people who have had to go through the Chemo treatments- I don't pay attention either way. Usually though, you can tell enough if someone is cancerous, and don't have hair because of the treatment. Chemo often weakens the body (It's a poison killing the cells), so people aren't exactly walking tall on chemo. So a woman with a shaved head isn't a red flag for me. I wouldn't think they had cancer.

I don't understand it.It is far from attractive .I fail to understand the reason a woman would do so.Also for me I have an old memory of the documentaries of the starving in Africa ,and these women had shaved heads.So associate shaved heads with destitution not fashion statements.

The back of my head is shaved. The front is about chin length, going shorter and shorter in a sharp upward slant until it hits the shaved part at the very top back of my head. Never seen anyone else with the haircut. I'd not think anything of it.

i didnt say assume, if someone you know has cancer (whether a friend, relative or a patient) then you would feel sorry for them, theyre going through a lot!.

I would think she would look better with long hair. Of course, that is if she WOULD look better with long hair. And that would be the end of my thinking about it.

I actually went through a faze in my life where I wanted to shave my head and get a tattoo of a dragon. But I got over it. I would just think she was in the same frame of mind I was in at the time. And probably think of how she's braver than I ever was.

APpearing in a Sinead O'Connor tribute concert? I don't know. I might take a second look, but probably wouldn't think much. There are so many different hair styles these days...besides it looks good on some, even if I wouldn't do it myself.

I have seen women who were quite attractive with a buzz cut or a shaved head. Much easier to take care of.
