Assuming the sapphires aren't huge, calculate the gold value by weighing the ring, then roughly halving it because your ring is only 14 carat, and you want to not count the sapphires. Gold is currently worth about £10 ($20) per gram. Are they real sapphires? If so, then multiply the gold value by about 1.5 to get an estimate of the value of the ring. If not, just take the gold value - the stones probably aren't adding to the value. Finally - is it a particularly well-worked ring? If so, bump up the value a bit to add for the workmanship - maybe another 25%. If not, the gold value is probably what you'll get for it at a jewller. Alternatively - take a look on eBay and see if anything like it has sold in the last year.
