  • a person can survive 28 days without food and 2 days without water. this is the average. my priest had a meeting with the parents that go to our churc(and mine) and my mother told me everything(which i didnt think i would need to know)

  • i've fasted numerous times...the longest i have gone was 40 days, on three different occasions...plus, i have done several shorter fasts...when i was heavily into this, i once went thru a 13 month period where i did multiple fasts, and only ate for 9 out of those 13 months...mind over matter...i drink plenty of fluids when i fast though, so i don't have any experience with that... by the way, i don't recommend that anyone try this...

  • My father has now lasted 12 days without food and water, the consultant said, only this morning, that he may go another 5/6 days. This is a very cruel way to die, apparently he has a strong constitution....
