Help answer this question below.

What is the name of the book series from like the 80's where the characters were like cats/foxes and other animals and I remember they did alot of baking or cooking. It was a favorite childhood book of mine and I can't remember the names...?

    What you describe sounds a lot like Beatrix Potter, who is much older than the 80's, but they probably did alot of re-introduction of her work. She did those books with all the animals and did the drawings for them as well. Good luck finding what your looking for.

    That sounds like you might be talking about "Henny Penny", AKA, "Chicken Little", AKA, "Chicken Licken".
    That's a story that's more than 2,000 years old, originally told as a lesson to Buddhist children to teach critical thinking and investigative reasoning.
    The only other one I can think of, with baking going on, would be "The Little Red Hen" where the hen finds a seed and tries to get help planting it, but everyone has better things to do throughout the whole planting, reaping, grinding, baking process, but they are more than willing to set aside their chores to eat it.
