Help answer this question below.
Don't take it apart send it to microsoft gaming studios
they'll fix it for free cause they know the xbox 360 has problems and breaks easily.
how do i take my xbox apart to fix it and will i get electric shock
What you gotta do is take the Xbox apart (DO THIS ONLY IF YOUR WARRANTY HAS EXPIRED!!!). Take the Disk Drive out. Turn it over. Remove the motor and lube the spindle inside (Recommend Triflow or a 3-in-1 lube, don't use WD-40 as it causes it to work worse). Reassemble then presto. Good as new ^_^
Call up Xbox tell them your problem and the'll send u a free box to put ur xbox in. U send it 2 them and in 10 days ur xbox is fixed. This only applies if u have an old xbox cuz the warranty is now extended for three years. THANKS MICROSOFT

Whenever I try to open my Xbox disc tray it just makes a whirring noise, but doesn't open. I can tell it's trying to open, but I won't. I've tried using the pinhole method to manually open

My Xbox works, but then doesn't work. Sometimes if I hold my Xbox vertical with the disc tray facing up it will open and my Xbox will work fine. The rest of the time it won't though.
