  • Wow that's a deep and good question, and I think you might be onto something here.
  • no, that's what science is all about. we are supposed to question the status quo and test existing hypothesis' and theories. that's the beauty of science, it's never stagnate, it's always growing ;)
  • No. In the story of creation, it goes through various stages of the creation of the universe and Earth but does not state how long a "day" is because this is in God's eyes. God is all powerful so can use a day to his likign and plus time in heavan is non existent so the days are mans way of representing that things were done in a certain order. Also, there are holes in all theories and throughout history scientists have had wrong ideas that they have held as gospel until they were proven wrong and jumped on a new bandwagon. Where they are right in some senses, there will always be people that say it isn't. Like, some physchiatrists argue that there is no such thing as evil and that morality is just perception when we all know that someone that goes and does something that we would define as evil, pretty much everyone would agree that it was evil. Also, the way that they say "this is right!" and scoff at everyone else doesn't mean they are right when there are always holes in theories. Evolution, the big bang, they are just "theories!" and I am sure these are the main two themes this question implies. Either way, even if these two theories were right it doesn't say God doesn't exist, it just means man's idea of him were all a bit wrong or that the stories of things were just stories, but he is still real. Where scientists say, "God is not real!" is just ignorant. It's ignorant of the unexplained, it's ignorant of the fact that in the crucifiction records there was a man named Christ crucified and it goes along with the fact that most scientists are stupid when they say there is no God yet they are quiet happy to go around acting like him. Either way you look at it, blasphemy is going against God so if you want to say that going against Science is like blasphemy then you are proving my God complex theory right. This is not to slate, I am merely trying to answer the question from my point of view
