Where would they live? the poles are melting, a species would be coming back only to die again.

I realised what a carnevore I am when I watched a discovery channel show about bringing back the wooly mamoth and honestly my first thought was "I wonder how it tastes? sure, if not for the tourism, potential products or scientific advancement... just for bragging rights.

It would be amazing to see the extinct animals again but I doubt that they'd survive in today's climate :(
