Jealousy - healthy or unhealthy, in the context of a relationship? Why?

    In the context of anything, jealousy is destructive. It doesn't have to be in a relationship... being jealous of others for what they have or who they are is awful. I cannot think of a single positive thing about being jealous. In a relationship that equates to being possessive and no one owns anyone.

    In general, I would say unhealthy.Jealousy left to fester can cause a rift in the relationship.However,some couples enjoy a bit of jealousy,some like to see their other half flirting with other people and vice-versa-they think it is a fun game.Notice I say some.
