  • answer them or ignore them.
  • Don't even notice. Just skip them.
  • Since they are all pretty much the same after the first couple you could almost cut and paste the answers. Or just ignore them which I did after the first of them.I think nearly the whole Home page is just a few too many.
  • Since he/she wants attention, stop paying any. Ever heard 'ignore it and it'll go away'? Try it.
  • I think staff generated questions are a fraud. This site specifically says "a community of people helping others" and "we're here to help you connect with others". There is not one word about fake, staff generated questions flooding the board in order to increase their search base under false pretenses.
  • Ignore them, downrate her if it makes you feel better. I DR'd AB-Joel once just to see what happened and I'm still here, so I'm guessing you won't get assassinated for DR'ing Bernice. I do sometimes wish AB had an 'ignore' feature so you could just not see some of that spam.
  • You can get rid of Bernice with this tip, if you're a Firefox user: http://docs.google.com/View?docid=dfgp9wxh_17xvk7f8
  • Many thanks for all the comments folks! I guess I am a just a bit different to those who suggest ignoring such fabricated (even though valid) questions. I, like everyone else spend valuable time searching for information to help genuine questioners, and this obviously requires time to read all the questions. I am not prepared to waste my time in this manner. I have also realised that to succeed as a website, Answerbag is highly dependent on new questions arising, so is unlikely to stop fabricated questions or allow them to be filtered because, when those who supply answers find there very few questions, they will stop coming to the site. Good luck to everyone and thanks to Answerbag for allowing me to learn from other peoples valid questions.
  • I usually just ignore "her". Oh "she" is a 'bot, not a human. Every now and then I answer one of them if they are, indeed, good questions. Sometimes when "she" is activated, "she" floods the site to the point where the scrolling to get to the MEMBER'S questions is very annoying. At those times I go do something else and return in an hour or so. I suggest to everyone to use that feedback link down at the bottom and, if you dislike AB-Bernice, tell AB that. I did so but, unless they hear from a number of members, they are not going to think it is a problem. I have used the feedback button for trolls in comments (cannot report an assaultive comment), a clone, and another personal attacks... the staff DOES listen when it is used that way.
