  • Clocks tick quicker the further up a gravity gradient they are. Clocks also tick quicker the slower they appear to be moving. If an Earth sized planet is orbiting its sun at a slower speed, it must be further out from the sun, so the clock will tick faster. The relative effect would only noticable with very sensitive instruments though.
