  • I would assume they eat food. Much like we do here in the US. Australia is renown for it's cattle and sheep ranches so I am sure they a lot of beef and lamb on the menu, not to mention the occasional "shrimp on the barby", or the delicacy of Australian "croc on a stick"! Yum!
  • We eat Crocodiles, snakes, and kangaroos, with a koala Smoothie for Desert. Seriously, we just eat the same stuff any anyone else, though we have Aussie beef, lamb and pork. We've got wicked good food, and Australian cooking is excellent, generally. Spread the Vegemite thin, by the way, that's the trick to it. But seriously, This isn't the oddest question I've had about Australia - Once an American School teacher asked, while I was speaking at their school, Asked if we use money in Australia.
  • We eat a really good variety of food, with excellent fresh produce to produce food with. We ate British type foods until the 1950's and since then our diets have been influenced by European style cooking and more recently Asian influence (all kinds). A lot of us like Vegemite too :)
  • BTW: We have loads of fast food too: mcdonalds, Kentuckey fried chicken, Hungry jacks, Subway, Pizza Hut, etc etc and probably eat it about as often as in America. We have fewer "Themed" or franchised restaurants than in america. We also seem to have a lot of take-away stores that just mostly sell roast-chicken and/or fish and chips.
  • we used to eat plain food ..meat, veg, but now we have over 150 different cultures and the food is fantastic so much to pick from and so many great flavours and tastes and so many great places to eat
  • BBQ kangaroo ;)
  • Their own teeth. Oh, wait... that's just the Rugby players.
  • Black babies

  • The whole story about australians eating our native animals are SOMEWHAT true i've never tasted a native australian land animal in my whole entire life! i think it is disgusting and cruel, it must be stopped for our beloved animals go extinct! it is an embarrassment to australia and we should be ashamed, some patriotism....
