i know theres worse...but one of my rugby teammakes drilled a guy so hard it broke a rib, which punctured the guys gall bladder, on top of that he had breathing problems and stuff...to see the guy up close was pretty bad

... worst one I witnessed ... Back in 1977, when I was racing 125cc motocross, a friend of mine was just ahead of me, while in a race, he rode his motorcycle over over a jump and landed on a photographer that was leaning over the fence trying to get better pictures ... the photographer was killed, the bike totalled, and my friend still rides a wheelchair.

Dying or breaking your neck. http://www.local6.com/sports/11119336/detail.html The worst one I witnessed was a guy who was doing an innocent little round house kick, but wasn't doing it quite correctly and it turns out his leg bone had a weakness in it, and it snapped in half and the ends of the bones were pushing out against the skin down near his ankle, and he was screaming.

How 'bout the Penn State weight lifter who blew out his O-Ring lifting 1040 lbs. or something like that. Looked like he had an entire roast beef hanging out of his arse;( DOH!

Dave Dravecky hands down... Breaks his humerus (upper arm) in mid pitch. One of the worst things I have ever seen. Look it up, he pitched for the Giants an did it on a comeback start.

Coyotes Game, 2001- hockey stick to the jugular. Dude was in critical condition for days.. just thinking about it makes me nauseous.
