(You probably do already) 2)Find a few favorites. 3)Research the vineyards that you like on the internet (many have websites) This is also a good site to visit: http://www.winesofchile.org/ 4)If you plan to visit Chile, make contact with the local distributor of those favorites (often listed on website, you may also ask your retailer to contact the distributor - which is probably more helpful) 5)Have a clear picture of your trip - where you want to go, when and how long you will be spending and how many in your group. It will help if someone in your group speaks Spanish (please inform whoever is helping you make arrangements). 6)If all else fails, contact the winery directly - there may be some with guest cottages. Whatever you do, plan to spend at least a couple of days at the shore eating seafood and drinking Chilean Sauvignon Blanc. :)
