  • Smile.
  • By the throat!
  • If you mean in your daily life, stay away from them you need not be dragged down by these people affecting your self-esteem :)
  • Just respond with "Well, I hope that all works out for you," to everything they say, even if it doesn't make sense....especially if it doesn't make sense.
  • Perhaps telling them that you wish they would go share their negative energy somewhere else becuase it bothers you? Unless it is your boss. Then you just smile and go back to work, avoiding her/him as much as possible.
  • Humour! First thing to do is learn your personal strengths and weakness'. Thank learn to make fun of your self (oops, I just dropped that pan on my foot, I am a clutz, I just tripped on whatever). Once you take control of your imperfections and learn from them, have fun with them. At that point, you are bulletproof (in a figurative way). Always remember to have fun. No matter how dire something seems, you will hopefully walk away from it, and be able to laugh tomorrow!
  • U should try to help this people no matter how hard that is! If u r really lazy u just need to think that someday u can be lonely and negative!
  • If you are trying to fix them, the only good answer is straight foreward "happy" determination. If you feel yourself being dragged down, smile and take it head on. Most pesimistic people can't resist the urge to laugh if persistant enough. If it is a freind you may want to recommend a doctor. Anti-depressants can sometime take the edge away to begin the healing process to a happier future. Good Luck :)
