Do antibiotics effect protection from pregnancy if you have sex 6 days before beginning antibiotics, but no sex after starting antibiotics?

Antibiotics interfere with the contraceptive pill. If you were on the pill and had relations before starting antibiotics you should be OK. I would speak to your doctor to be sure in relation to the exact contraception you are using.
