    Depends on the oil's viscosity, higher is better and uses less ... and on the condition of the cylinder walls and rings and how much blow by is being allowed per stroke ... and on the oil pump's condition and its max pressure ... and on the spark plugs ... and on the carb's rich/lean setting. It SHOULD be about one litre per five or six tanks of fuel, or less.
