What should I know when purchasing gutter covers?

i know that they can be a pain sometimes. Every year I would have to climb up on the roof and clean them off anyway. If you are installing them yourself try to install them as flat as possible on you gutters. Some of the "UNIVERSAL" products you have to flex into your gutters and if there is any bevel whatsoever, there is a place where leaves will collect...
