If a person was sucked up by a tornado they would die by geting hit by other objects in the winds of the tornado, aslo, depending how soon they are tossed out and how hard they hit the ground they could possibly live, but it's not common.

The tornado would not harm the person. However, the violent stop when the person was tossed against an immovable object likley would.

Being shredded by the millions of other objects being carried at high speeds by the twister. Although there have been stories of survivors, like this guy I saw on TV the other day who said he was plucked out of his house by one and later woke up unharmed in a field about 1km away! And then there are other strange cases of violent F4 or F5 tornados that have devastated whole towns, but also picked up delicate objects and put them down again somewhere else without breaking them.*Twilight zone music*

A person doesn't necessarily have to die when they get sucked up by a tornado. In fact there were many cases where a person was picked up by a tornado and found several miles away from where they started..ALIVE! It is possible to break bones or break your neck from the massive pull of the tornado's winds, but in one case this woman was knocked out and her body was limp like a ragdoll. Doctors said that probably saved her life.

Probably the most dangerous part about being inside the wind tunnel is that there is so much debris being picked up that you could easily get a toaster, a shovel, a block of wood right to the face and get killed. Even if you survived the ride, you probably will get killed when the tornados throws your body at hundreds of miles an hour.

There is also the possibility of dying of a heart attack from sudden shock or extreme fright, even if the person otherwise would have survived being carried by the tornado.

You might not die, but you would certainly be re-located to Kansas.

If other debris didnt smash, cut ,stab or beat you to death the sudden stop at the end of the ride will.

The person that is in the tornado at that time would die of trama, because of all the flying debris in the torando. that debris would slice him like a hot knife through soft butter.
the person may also die because of G forces. the human body can only withstand a certain amount of Gs, once the amount is reached that person would die.
