IMO, I would say a whirlwind romance is one that seems to be going so fast. You're just swept away with what you feel and are just being swept into the next step. I would say that a whirlwind romance, always has alot of action. Starting off quiclky, moving onto the next thing quickly, and then stopping abruptly as if nothing else could stop such force. I actually picture it like a little tornado. You get sucked into it and are just caught up in this whole romance that becomes your life. Tornados also spin quickly, like this type of romance might. And then just like a Tornado might end, quickly and as fast as it started, it's gone. I hope it all made sense!
