  • I read recently of a 13 year old patient who had developed ovarian cancer. I do not know if this is the youngest case. She also went through puberty at age 10, somewhat unusual for puberty at that age. There is childhood ovarian cancer, it is considered very rare - I can not locate any data on the youngest age known for this.
  • I am an ovarian cancer survivor and was diagnosed at the age of 2-1/2 years of age. Signs of puberty triggered my parents initial concern. Removal of infected ovary and chemo. I am now 38.
  • Nope. Other forms of cancer have hit other members of my family though, just not at such a young age.
