As a mother I do every day. And not just my own, any child I come into contact with.

Oh, it's always about the children! Children this and children that! Well what about the drunk uncles that, as far as I'm concerned, have been getting the short shrift lately. Save the planet for the drunk uncles, you thoughtless ingrates!

I know it's a joke post, but I want to rant: I hate those TV commercials showing starving children in third world countries, trying to tug on people's heartstrings to donate money. What about the starving impoverished adults and teens? Do they not mater? Do those charities just go "Sorry, you've hit puberty, you are no longer a cute big eyed waif, so go fend for yourself- bye!"
