  • It might depend on how you define "permanent". Here's what you can do: Set up the home on your own land, with a good, solid footer and tie-down system. Remove the suspension and tongue, and underpin with brick. That is as near to a peramnent installation as you will come. The final step is to have the home and land titled as one. You can get the instructions at your county courthouse, but if your county is like mine, you may need an attorney to follow those instructions competently. This is more commonly done with doublewides, but so far as I know, it can be done with a singlewide.
