  • yes, it does. Some say its lack of a certain vitamin. some say dehydration. Either why those suckers hurt. yikes
  • Yes, it is usually sore for a day or two. You need potassium...eat a banana. Could also be dehydration
  • I've had that happen to my neck. It hurt so much for a few days. Sometimes there's a reason it happens. I found that I was propping myself up to much.
  • Call your doctor, leg pain can be simple or can be a symptom of more then you want it to be. A simple phone call and a quick visit can help determine the difference. I have to stress the importance of this especially if it is something that you get often or on and off enough to notice.
  • yeh i get thoes too but they usually stop hurting after the inital pain maybe you should consult your doctor just to be sure good luck!
  • Since I discovered that magnesium can help me, I have almost no more cramps. If I have some cramp, I suppose I am low on magnesium, and I take some magnesium for a week (not much and no more). But the cause by you could also be elsewhere. • I've had night cramps in my legs and feet, and my brother, who was a chemist, said to take magnesium tablets, as cramps are an indicator of lack of that mineral. You've surely heard, too, that a bar of soap will ease bedtime leg cramps. I've tried it, and had great relief. I keep a big bar of Ivory in the nightstand drawer, and put it under the covers so it will be about where my calves are close to it. I thouight it was "an old wives tale." but there really seems to be some connection ..... believe it or not!
  • I get leg cramps all the time and if I don’t stop it in time it will 'lock up'. If it does it can be sore for days, just like an overworked muscle. So I find myself flying out of bed from a deep sleep in order to get it before it locks. Quinine is a good preventer if you can find it. You used to be able to get it at liquor stores as a mixer but was outlawed because the side effects would cause ringing in the ear. Magnesium helps, keeping hydrated is the most helpful, that and cheese will sometimes help (for me).
