I would patent it, cpoyright it, whatever it takes and then share it with anyone who wouldn't make money on it. I don't want anyone getting control over it and locking it up for the future.

I would personally share it with the world. I cannot say that if it were available, that it would be widely distributed to all those in need. Particularly since there is a cure for turbucolosis, yet millions of people die each year from it despite the cure being found over 40+ years ago. I think that if a cure were developed it would first be available to the wealthy and may be priced out of reach for those poor who need it.

Is anyone really going to say, "No, I think I'd keep it to myself."? (and yes, I would, even though I do think that diseases are a natural part of life and necessary in keeping populations at bay.)

I would share it with everybody I possibly could... I've lost 2 close family members to cancer and had to watch my best friend battle it, when we were in second grade... I hope nobody has to go through any thing so terrible or watch a loved one battle such a horrible thing, and if I ever make bookoo bucks, they're going to Cancer and AIDS research.
