  • Let me let you in on a little secret: babies are little parasites. And I say that in the nicest way. What I mean is that they will gain nutrition from you, even at your expense. Unless you have been not eating at all, your baby has probably managed to get out of you everything it needs...at the same time, you, yourself may be lacking because the little "sucker" has been taking it from you. The solution is to eat well, to benefit both of you. No time is too late to start.
  • What singwell says is true: If you aren't drinking milk, the baby takes the calcium from your bones. So you are doing more damage to yourself than your baby. That being said, PLEASE start eating and drinking as healthfully as you can. It is never too late. You will need to be in top form for the delivery. It is very hard work (that's why it's called labor), and you need energy and stamina, which come from eating right and exercising. Good luck !
  • its never to late , and i would advise you to take calcium supplements with extra d along with vitamin k and iron suppliments in addtion to your prenatal vitamins and i would start now and continue long after that baby is born so you can replace what the baby took from you.and still eata well balenced diet.
  • Well, It's NEVER too late to start! While the baby WILL take nutrients from your body if none are available through diet, It's also true that if your vitamin and mineral stores are low, the baby could indeed be suffering. Start getting your fruits and veggies!! Eat white meat and stay healthy and happy! Good for you for wanting to do the right thing for your baby! P.S. Milk isn't always as healthy as people would have you believe, get lots of water to drink!!
  • It is never to late to start eating healty for both you and your baby. Also keep up the healthy eating after your baby is born and keep feeding her healthy foods to, so she will continue to eat healthy as she grows.
  • I have also not been eating healthily and Im just beginning my 3rd trimester... well Id eat healthy and then go on sweet binges or have fast food and pizza until I felt aweful and craved healthy food... So I know how you feel and your worries... make sure you are taking your prenatal vitamines and begin eating healthy now. The third trimester is when the babies nutritional needs have to be met the most, for healthy brain and bones. I read this today and Im putting myself on a health diet, no more sweets! Also I did drink Slim Fast a lot with my cereal or with my sandwhich at lunch and it gave me even more vitamines. Just dont drink slim fast for dieting purposes.
