Considing your profile says "female", no. Your usernae isn't hard to pronounce.

I don't assume anything here. Not from avatars or names. Looking just at avatars you might assume male or female but it could be a photo of family, person they like or hate and anyone can call themselves anything. So unless I see something in their profile or can definitely tell from their answer or question, it's all neutered to me.

Nope I watch what people write and see if they refer to them selves as male or female some time. I also have checked profiles to find out. Never assume anything because then you become the first 3 letters of the word. ;D

I never once thought you were male, but then your original avatar was less ambiguous. But even then, I think I would recognize "satine" as a female name.

No--I don't even try to assume genders anymore because I'm always wrong. But since "Satine" is straight out of Moulin Rouge (for me) then I would be entirely surprised if you were a boy. And isn't it just Sa-teen? That's not difficult.
