"Yes, contrary to popular belief Absinthe has never been outlawed in the United Kingdom" - from http://www.seborabsinth.com/faqs/legal_uk.asp And I can vouch for that: I've bought absinthe from the local ASDA Walmart and bought and drunk absinthe from a hotel bar. Local off-licenses carry many different brands.

Yes Absinthe is legal to own, drink or even buy or sell in the uk. It is a strong drink, and it shouldnt be drunk the wrong way, otherwise you might aswell buy a coffin with the drink. Me and some of my mates had some last night, we were able to purchase it from an average store, not a supermarket like Tesco, Asda or Morrisons, but corner shops and not "well known" shops might sell it.

Yes, but you do have to be careful about the quality and reputation. There are too many 'Green, anise vodkas' masquerading as the real thing. http://www.alandia.de http://www.thedrinkshop.com/products/productlist.php?catid=49

Yes, but remember it can kill you the first time you try it.
