Approximately what percentage of shows on American TV channels are American? How does that compare with the amount of Australian content on Australian television, or UK content on British television?

    i would say almost 100% of tv shows in the states are american. seriously. i don't know about the uk or australia.
    in spain they do have tons of american tv shows (dubbed). the us has such a huge tv/movie making industry that it has almost literally taken over the world. look at the oscars or other american award shows...

    The channels vary greatly by state to state. Some may have more American channels than another state. It's tough to say that there is no average percentage.
