    there are several types of sea valves..

    some are biological like sea clams...some are mechanical..like sea gates in holland or ...sea valves on offshore drilling rigs....theres also sea valves that capture the energy of sea waves or currents and create energy for electricity...sorry dont know which one your referring to

    A sea valve (sometimes called a sea cock) on a ship is a valve that allows water into, or if the vessel is in dry dock, out of, the bilges or ballast tanks.
