I dont think a bit of humour hurts, we all like a laugh. But obviously I would not use it for certain questions, the same way in I would not use it in real life. It depends on the circumstances.

There ARE certain instances when humor is not appreciated as much as it'd be if the situation were different. In short, it DOES depend on the nature of the question- not so much what category it's placed under, because some people still haven't learned the art that is Categorizing Questions correctly- to conclude how seriously it is to be taken. I must admit that I answer alot of questions with what I consider humor, but I also know that there's a time for it so I choose questions wisely when sharing my wits.
