  • yes all the time
  • Lol... I dont really hate it but it makes me mad at times
  • Only when they run into closed gate. :)
  • Not many people turn using our drive, but our neighbour across the road drives a whole car lenght into our drive so they can reverse into their own drive. It makes me mad (unreasonably), as I use the road space to manouver so I can reverse into my own drive. My partner and I joke that they have no reversing skills and need to use our drive as otherwise they would have to turn the wheel while reversing. The also park all their cars right out the front on both sides of the road (they have about 3 grown-up kids who live at home so there are 5-6 cars there all the time), which I also hate.
  • No and can not understand why the heck this bothers people, they need to turn around.......... what will it hurt?
  • Its ok, I'm cool with it..I use people's driveways to turn too.
  • The folling video has cusswords but is incredibly relevent
  • No..if you need to turn around you need to turn around..not hurting my driveway any assuming its not a big ol semi truck and trailer.
  • Never had an issue and I would laugh my ass off if some dumb/desperate bastard tried it. If you saw where I lived and the layout of our road and driveway, you would see why. I live about a mile out on a dirt road and not too close to any neighbors. Go down to the gulley then up three hills and look for a low spot in the grass on the right. If you have enough room to open your doors at all you've got my driveway; otherwise you've got my neighbor.
  • No, I dont care, just please stop throwing out your coffee cups, beer cans, cigarette butts, McDonalds sacks, and puppies.
  • I don't mind, as long as they turn around and move along... I hate it when they sit there... I don't know - checkin' the map, calling on the phone, doing mascara - whatever... esp at night, with their lights shining into my house... That burns me up...
  • Yes, and my father would get so angry that he would leave all kinds of things at the end of the driveway so people would turn around in it, didn't help - people would drive right over everything, even boards with nails exposed!
  • No, unless they pull ALL the way up to the house, then yes.
  • To turn around in..no. But at 3 am they could be considerate enough to turn down the "bumping" stereo that is vibrating my windows and peeling the paint off my house.
  • LOL! you just wasted seconds of my life that i will never get back! bastard.
  • I am a red fox, and I live in a forest very near a very large city, so I don't really have a driveway, but when people drive their cars through my part of the park, I get quite scared. I hate to say it, but I am very afraid of automobiles. I know it's kinda pathetic, but they're so big!
  • ah, now you know why i don't have a driveway.
  • I don't really care when people do it. I don't see the harm in it, all they do is use it for at least 10 seconds. If you care so much for time then I think you might care, and if you get mad easy then you'll care a lot. I don't think if its much of a problem.
  • Nah, I figure it's payback for the times I use other people's driveways the same way.
  • No, I don't really mind that. What I do mind, tho', is when your neighbor parks their cars in front of your house. That bothers me. I asked my neighbor why they did it, and he said "so people can see my house and so I can just walk to the mailbox without having to walk around my car". He parks there even when NOBODY is at his house. I told him that I had friends coming over one night, and they saw his 2 cars in front of my house, so they left. They thought maybe something had happened and didn't want to intrude. I called to see where they were, and they explained. So, now he only parks ONE of them in front of my house.
  • I probably would as our driveway is almost 1,000 feet long. They would have to be really desperate to come all the way up here to use our turnaround. The street is wider.
  • Not at all. I always thought it was really cool, when I was a kid. (The strange thing is, we were only three doors from the cul-de-sac, so why anyone would turn around in our driveway is still kind of beyond me.) My wife and I now have a corner lot beside a three-way stop, so people just U-turn in the intersection.
  • I wouldn't mind anyone simply turning around in my drive but it annoys me when my neighbours use my drive instead of their own!!! They drive across the grass verge on the front of my house ripping up all the grass!!! It is so unnecessary!!! I have considered putting a few rocks down to stop them but I'm not sure if it's illegal as it is council property??? Has anyone any ideas????
