I'm the eldest. I'm cast as: The-Smart-One-Who-Can-Rescue-Us. Also, by my brother, the middle one, I'm cast: The-One-I-Have-To-Compete-With-And-Lie-To-And-About-If-Neccessary. I don't mind the first, because it's true. I am currently very annoyed about the second...

I'm the strong, big sister - who was the black sheep growing up.
-
I would say the "family stone" but it would be lying. I think i'll say the old one! Or, the strange one.

Funnily enough, I've been each of your suggestions. "The Strong One" phase of mine was a little while ago after I moved into my own place. "The Smart One" and "The Black Sheep" phase both fall around the time that I was going through my ATP (awkward teen phase). I would keep to myself while reading books and reminding anyone that was bold enough to try to converse with me that they were wrong in mostly everything that they said and the way that they chose to say it. "The Troubled One" phase goes further back than them all and falls around the time that I was 8 and 9 and had picked up on the world around me seemingly faster than my peers. I "knew too much for my own good," let the elders say, and therefore was labeled as "troubled". At THIS point in my life, however, I'm considered The Sure One, which entails being very happy within myself and having it ooze from my pores like sweat on a hot summer day in Texas for everyone to see. I like this phase...

I am the loner of the group. I don't like to talk on the phone. I don't like surprise visits. I don't tell my family my business. But I do talk to them at least once a week or more, even if it's for just a few minutes to check on them. I always tell them I love them, too. If they need me, I'm there!
-
I'm such a Black Sheep my Call sign should perhaps be Major Pappy Boyington.
-
The invisible one i do my own thing and no one even cares if i don't do anything all day. I'm on my own so yeah the invisible its perfect for me.
-
I am the black sheep, must say when I am not there they do miss me a little, I love my family so much, but I cant stand being with them for two long cause we start arguing and fighting, I try not to spend to much time with them cause no matter ho hard I tri I always get judged, I have got a excellent job, doing good for my-self, the wife and the kids, but I guess I was put there so that I can be used for a punching bag, well, I am actually used to it so it does not bother me any more, I just wished it could have been different, I have got a mother who is bitter about life cause of her childhood and she picks on me cause of this, my poor father is in the middle, so I run away not to hurt him.
-
the strong one and the black sheep
