i can't answer you that well but il just give u a tip for a safer cellphone usage.. 1st.. never use cellphone in a gasoline station because the radiation that comes from the cellphone can ignite the gasoline.. 2nd.. never use a cellphone if you accidentally swallowed a gasoline (as per no. 1) 3rd.. do not use your right ear when having a conversation on the cellphone because there this sensitive nerves located in the right part of your brain that can be damage in a prolonged or exposure to cellphone radiation.. so medical experts advised to use cellphone on the left ear.. 4th.. do not use your cellphone while charging, this might give you a high voltage of electric current that might cost your life eventhough cellphone chargers are a small voltage thingy.. 5th.. that's all i remember.. be back to add more if i found another one.. p.s sorry i cant give you links since these are base in experience and am bored to get links (to be honest..)

I haven't heard of too much except the gasoline thing. I am a little worried, I figure they will come up with it once they need us to switch to the next thing.

There is no evidence at all that cellphones are unsafe. There are a lot of worries about them, but none of the experiments that have been done have shown any ill effects. Of course, no experiment can *ever* show complete safety. If you run an experiment for two years, it may be that the ill effects only show up after five years. If you run an experiment for fie years, maybe it takes ten. The gasoline thing is complete myth. Certain extremely large transmitters on very different wavelengths can cause spars, which of course you don't want in a gas station. Someone generalised that to "transmitters cause sparks", and decided to ban cell phones near gasoline. No problem has ever actually been observed, but no-one is going to remove the ban *just in case*. Actually, the biggest danger is that you will not pay attention while yakking, and spill gasoline all over the ground, where something else sparks it. Gas is dangerous stuff and needs your full attention. I have no worries about using cellphones at the level I do - minutes per day. If you use them hours a day, I suggest you examine your lifestyle, and find a better way to pass your time

geez...maybe I should check the safety on this tin can and string unit I use.

I am really hoping cell phones are safe.

When I bought my current phone (LG Chocolate), I read all the warnings, and one actually said "Do not hold phone right against head while in use, to prevent any chance of radiation" There were like 3 paged of warnings like this. It's scary!
