  • Tree tar? hmmm..that's never good. How big is the spot? How much is there? How long has it been there? I was going to suggest the bug and tar remover (it's never failed me) but you say you tried that. Maybe a rubbing compound? You will have to be VERY careful as to how deep you go, but if a polishing compound doesn't work your only option really is a rubbing compound. Normally you remove those things like...immediately? But I know there's a reason for everything...
