it is called the IDEO locator! :-) it does have a name
Wull, it's usually an arrow or an X. Rarely seen these days is the pointing finger, which would be more properly used as "You WERE here."
The real question is, "How do they know where I am?" More importantly, "Who are 'they?' " And most ominously, "Why do they care where I am? Why are they keeping tabs on me?"

I think I have heard it called an 'ideo locator' but I also think I have heard something else... I just cannot find where it is right now (interesting)
