The Thief of Always without any hesitation whatever. what a near perfect book. I first read it when I was about 24 and was amazed by it (still am when I reread throught the intervening decade), I gave it to my 11 year-old brother for Christmas one year and it blew him away. I don't know anyone who has read it that hasn't been stunned. Bliss

I've only just recently read the Books Of Blood so theyre my only experience of Clive Barker - and they were awesome! Truly horrifying, original premises, and extremely well written. I'm definitely gonna be getting some of his novels to read. Really hard to pick out my favorite of all the stories in the Books Of Blood, it would probably be "Rawhead Rex" or "In The Hills, The Cities"
